Today was so much fun!  We had MK Mueller in to give a talk to us.  She customized for us so we could see her education and healthcare specific presentations.  She teaches the "8 To Great" Process. That is the name of her book, as well...
It is a step by step process on how to get the most out of each and every day and how important it is to have the right attitude and to be grateful.   She has worked with everyone from corporate to school districts to help change lives and get people motivated.  She also has a book "Taking Care of Me: the Habits of Happiness."  MK has a background in the classroom and understands what needs to happen to empower others.  She would be a great fit for any organization! 

We had a great sales meeting this week with featured speaker Scott Schwefel. He is an expert and speaks on the Insights Discoveries and all that it can do to help your organization.  By learning the "colors", or personalities, of those around you, you can more effectively communicate as a leader, a co-worker, a salesperson or in any capacity in life.  I really enoyed getting to know my co-workers better!  SURPRISE (not) Nancy was a Fiery Red and Jennifer was a Cool Blue. Although many of us were Sunshine Yellow, James and Amy did surprise us by being a thoughtful Green.  It really helped me plan for my interactions with each person and allowed me to better understand where my co-workers come from.  Such a fun and effective event!   I enjoyed also that it was interactive since I have a short attention span :o)
